落ちてくるヴェルディさんへ。
まさか、J1に上がらずしてヴェルディと戦う日が来るなんて…。
J開幕当時。
ヴェルディはその熱の中心にいた。
コンサがJに昇格したときもヴェルディは、同じ舞台で戦っていながら、遠い存在の気がしていた。
強豪の凋落。時代の流れ。
一言で片付けるには、あまりにも複雑すぎる。
あのころのJリーグの熱の中心にいたチームが、来季からはJ2。
ちょうどその後、遠い遠い南で、あの頃のヴェルディを象徴するような選手だったカズさんが、ゴールを決めていた。
今でも、私はカズさんといえばヴェルディだと思っている。
その後にたくさんのユニフォームを身に纏ったけれど。
親会社である日本テレビの社長は、降格のかかった試合をゴール裏で観戦していたという。
ヴェルディ。
セグンダは甘くないよ。
こういうことになったからには、どれだけ複雑な感情があったって、同じ目標に向かって戦っていかなければならないんだから。
ただ…
降格争いには中途半端に絡んだけれど、やっぱり中途半端に終わっちゃったチームのサポがいうのもなんだけれど、
J1で戦いたかった。
J2ではなく。
