横浜マリンタワーを階段で上る／Going up Yokohama Marine Tower by step

　巷では東京スカイツリーがもてはやされておりますが、ここ横浜では背高のっぽの建造物と言えば、横浜マリンタワーです。全長106ｍ、開業は1961年。50周年を前に2009年にリニューアルされ、現在の姿になりました。

　今日はＮ嬢と二人でそのマリンタワーを、地上91ｍの展望台まで階段で歩いて上ろうという企画に参加して来ました。今の時期は並行してビアガーデンもやっているとのことだったので、身体を使った後、旨いビールを飲もうということで。

　運動不足回避のためにも、日々、極力階段を使うようにしているので、335段完歩には何の不安も感じていませんでした。しかし、ここで誤算がひとつ。

　外階段。

　金網で囲まれているとは言え、吹きさらし。

　高所恐怖症なので、これは厳しかったです。写真では判りづらいですが、いたるところスカスカで、どうやったって自分の高度が上がって行くのが判る。下を見ないようにしたって、階段の隙間から遠ざかる地上や低くなって行く水平線が見えるわけです。浜風に煽られるし、ペンキは綺麗に塗り直してあっても、階段や踊り場では、足下の鉄が結構腐食してところどころ穴が空いていたりするし。

　疲れたのは脚よりも、手摺を握り続けた手だったような（右の写真は周りの建物が全部見下ろせるくらいの高さで、踊り場に座り込んで撮影）。

　ちなみにＮ嬢は高い所が好きという変人なので、実に楽しそうでした。

　景色を楽しむ余裕などあるはずもなく、ひたすら上ったせいでしょうか、距離も時間も思ったほどではなく、実にあっけなくゴール。

　到着した展望台から見下ろす山下公園。

　中に入ってしまえばこっちのもの（？）です。足下はしっかりしているし、分厚いガラスに囲まれて落ちる心配もありません。地上91ｍ、恐るるに足らず。

　下まで降りて、スタンプラリーを完成させ、さあ、飲みに行こうとレストランを目指したところで誤算その２。

　ビアガーデンは17:00から。

　現在時刻12:00。

　世の中の人間全てが自分達のように、休みともなれば午前中から飲んでいるわけではないと思い出して少しだけ反省（？）。

　結局飲める場所を探しながら海沿いをブラブラ、ビールはカフェでランチをしながら飲み、途中でイベントを冷やかしたり、買い物をしたり、楽しい一日でした（下は、さきほど見下ろした公園から、タワーを見上げる写真。あの外側を歩いたのだなあと思いつつ）。

　明日からまた頑張りましょう！

Today, Ms. N and I went to Yokohama Marine Tower to go up it by steps to the observation deck 91 meters high. The tower has been a landmark of the city since 1961.  Before its 50th anniversary, it was rebuilt in 2009 and now has the height of 106 meters. 

Walking up 335 steps could not be any problem for us physically but where the steps were was big problem for me. It was outside of the tower and I have a terrible acrophobia. Each step brought me higher, off the ground, and everything I could see told it to me; there was no way that I ignored the sky and sea coming to my eyes from my feet, and strong sea wind, sometime it could be a gaze, scared me even I had guarded by the cage.

Neither the way nor the time was longer than we expected. For Ms. N simply it was an funny activity; and for me, it totally was a kind of trial. I had to wait until we got in the safety observation deck to enjoy great bird view.

After that we walked around the sea side area to have our lunch and beer and also shopping. It was nice as usual.

第12節　鹿島戦／VS Kashima Antlers (May 19th, 2012 at Kashima Stadium)

　7-0の負けというのはひょっとしてクラブ史上最悪なのではないでしょうか。ちょっと記憶にございません。

　まあ、前半10分での２失点で動転してしまった段階でほぼ試合は決まっていましたし、36分の前田の負傷退場がそれを確実なものにしてはいましたが。

　早さ、強さ、巧さ全てに勝る鹿島を相手に長くやればやるほど、振り回され、疲れさせられ、更に相手が有利になり、かと言って失点を最小限に抑えるためだけにゲームをやるわけにもいかず、攻撃にトライしてはミスを突かれ失点を重ねる、いわゆるハメられた展開になってのこの結果でしょう。得失点差がどうこう言えるほどの順位にもいないですから、（情けないことですが）点差自体はさほど気にする必要はないでしょう。

　やはり前田の退場が痛かったですね。彼が去った後、ウチにはゲームを組み立てるために個人で何かを出来る選手がいなかった。代わりに入った大島は相変わらず前線からのプレスさえかけられませんし。前線の数合わせなら、あそこは内村を入れて、次に砂川（実際、前でボールを収める気配を見せてくれたのは彼だけでした）、展開次第でもう一枚切り札を残しておいた方が良かったような。大島はナビスコの大宮戦で良かったようなので少し期待したのですが、相手も一枚落ちのカップ戦がせいぜいというところなのでしょうか、残念でした。

　ワールドカップ予選でチームを離れるノースも、２連勝を置き土産にと意気込んでいたようですが、蓋を開ければPK献上で２失点目の原因に（もっとも、あそこをそのまま抜かれていれば結局失点だったような気もしますが）。唯一惜しかった場面は29分、前のコーナーキックから河合のヘッドがゴールラインを叩いた瞬間。ただ、曽ヶ端は前の試合で直接敗因となるミスをしたこともあって今日はいつも以上に気合いが入っていたのでしょう、スーパーセーブを連発していて、この辺、上手く行っていないチームのツキのなさのようなものも感じました。

　無理やり良かった点を探すなら、自分達の力量、このリーグでの位置を、改めて認識できたことではないでしょうか。流されるウチのファウルの多さ。つまり札幌はファウルをしてなお、鹿島のプレーを切れないわけです。同じキーパーのファインセーブでも、向こうは二の矢三の矢で押し込んで来る。ゴール前の粘り強さと正確なプレーがウチとは雲泥の差でした。

　ここから盛り返すためには何か想像を絶する要因が必要でしょう。それがないなら、ウチはウチのサッカーで足掻いて行くしかない。前田の負傷の度合い次第では、それすら難しいでしょうが、ここが耐えどころです。どれだけ辛くても、シーズンを諦めるにはまだ早い。もうこれしか言えませんが、何とか頑張れ、コンサドーレ札幌！

Saturday’s Kashima Stadium, 7-0 big winning for the home team, Kashima Antlers; however could be the bitterest one for the visitors; Consadole Sapporo, in its history.

Although Consadole started the game definitely not bad, the 2 goals behind in first 10 minutes almost decided how the game would go; and the 36th minute’s injured Shunsuke Maeda’s leaving practically decided the ending. Without him, literally key player for the team, they were not able to even set its attack. The quicker, faster, stronger, tougher and more skillful and more concentrated were Antlers players always and everywhere; especially in front of Takagi’s goal, before their scoring, they were deadly cohesive and accurate for the last moment. The longer they played, the more it turned to be difficult for Sapporo to get it back. Even though Kashima’s team power obviously exceeded the opponent and overwhelmed the game, Sapporo had to try something to score; and it made them more tired and more loosen. It was not strange that Antlers stuck such many goals in the end.

Jade North who had said that he would leave two straight victories to Consadole before he goes to join Australian national team for the World Cup trial game but his foul caused the penalty kick to allow Antlers’ second goal. As the closest play, in the 29th minute, Kawai’s header to Mae’s corner kick hit on the Sogahata’s goal line but it was the best for them this day.

One thing good for them or us was what we saw what they are or we are in this J1 league once again. From here they or we could rebuild the plan to stand this situation. It is a little early to give up. Fight the fight, Consadole Sapporo!

第11節　F東京戦／VS FC Tokyo (May 12th, 2012 at Sapporo Dome)

　開始１分も経たずに失点。それもまた自分達のミスから。あの梶山の技有りゴールで、FC東京は完全に前回対戦時の嫌なイメージを振り切れたのではないでしょうか。リードしている状況を利用した卒ないゲームメイクとプレーの選択で、見事逃げ切りに成功。

　ああいう前線からの激しいプレスと素早く短いパス交換からの得点は、ウチこそがやりたかったもの。日高のスリップが痛かったですが、しかしその最初のミスを除けば、贔屓目抜きで札幌も悪くはありませんでした。前田のキープ力とアイデアを活かした中からの攻撃の組み立てと、古田のサイド突破は効いていましたし、実際シュート数は互角、チャンスの数は札幌の方が多かったほど。だからこそ決められる時に決めて欲しいというのも事実なのですが、ただ、この日はオリンピック代表キーパーでもある権田が凄過ぎました。ウチも10回に１回あるかないかのシュートを何度も放ちましたが、ことごとく止められました。今日の最優秀選手は間違いなく彼でしょう。

　札幌ではノースが良かったです。カバーリングとクリアするのか繋ぐのかの判断は相変わらず素晴らしい。一戦ごとにチームにフィットして、今や最も頼りになる守備の要です。６月の代表戦では対戦することになりますが、ワールドカップ予選じゃなかったら迷わずオーストラリアの（と言うかノースの）応援に回りたいくらい。実際はワールドカップ予選なので…複雑です。

　古田と純平も、運動量が素晴らしかったです。特に古田は前半、何処にでもいるように感じられる前からの守備が良かった。純平はシュートもですが、90分通して走り続けていました。ボールを持ったら可能性を感じさせる選手の一人でもあります。

　前回対戦時のヒーロー、内村は、後半74分に登場しましたが、ボールに触れる機会が少なくチームを救うには至らず。大島と榊は何も出来ず。と言うか、毎度のことながら足が止まってセカンドボールの競り合いに負けている状況で、背が高いだけの大島を入れて何になるのか。あの時間帯、相手が唯一嫌がっていたのはサイドからのドリブル攻撃なのだから、どう考えても砂川を投入するべき（もしくは岡本を入れて置くべき）だったと思うのですが、まあ、監督のやることですから意図があるはずなのですけれど、理解できません。

　ここまで勝てないとさすがに何かを変えるべきなのかとも思いたくなりますが、いやいやまだまだ。やっていることは間違っていないですし、この我慢と挑戦は続ける価値有りと考えます。ただ、もう少しハードに、辛抱強く注意深くやらなければ、このカテゴリーでは勝てない。

　試合後、スタンドに挨拶に回っている河合の泣きそうな表情が印象的。悔しいのでしょう。その気持ちに次回期待。頑張れ、コンサドーレ札幌！

Saturday, Sapporo Dome, the zero minute’s opening goal with Kajiyama’s fantastic and tricky “looking back” shot was totally enough for FC Tokyo to wash away the bad memory of the last game of last season to the same opponent in same place, the home team Consadole Sapporo beat them by a score of 2-1 to decide the promotion for this season. This time the game for the visitors; they played cleverly and confidently and kept it whole 90 minutes.

That kind of sleek scoring from quick press and short passes was what Sapporo wanted to try. Still, except for the really first mistake, they were not bad; actually the number of shot was even and they created more chances than Tokyo, however, every time the last moment their shots were blocked or stopped by Tokyo’s goal keeper Gonda, also the captain of the under 23 national team for London Olympics. Undoubtedly The Man of the Match was he, it was remarkable.

Among Consadole, Jade North was well with his careful skill and proper decision as usual. This Australian national team defender has been fitting the team one game each. Furuta and Takaki also showed good performance especially on their hard working. Uchimura, the hero of previous time with his 2 goals, appeared at the 74th minute as a substitute but made no drama. The other substitutes Oshima and Sakaki worked nothing. 

Their style that based on high pressing and starting offence from Maeda with his technique and idea seems to be worth to keep trying, it has never changed; they are on the right track. Just keep playing harder and tougher with solid concentration, go for next, Consadole Sapporo!

第10節　横浜Ｍ戦／VS Yokohama F. Marinos (May 6th, 2012 at Nissan Stadium)

　くーやーしーいー！

　先制されて前半の内に追い付いたところまでは良かったのですが、ああまで一方的に押される時間が長くなると、さすがに辛い。良く凌いではいましたが、マルキーニョス、谷口という交代で入った選手を抑えられず、ちょっとの隙を突かれて突き放されました。既にウチは脚が止まっていたので、あそこで先に取られた段階で相当厳しくなったと思いました。

　残念ながら、それほど良い内容とは言えませんでした。少なくとも前節のようなサッカーではなかった。まあ、ベストの試合を毎回できるようならこういう状況にはないと思いますが…。

　今日は特に守備のところで防いだ後どうするのかが凄く中途半端だったように見えました。シンプルにクリアするのか、思い切ってタッチに逃げてプレーを切るのか、繋ぐのか。クリアできる場面でも繋いで組み立てるのが約束事ならばそれでも構わないのですが、それならそれで、感覚だけでボールを離したり流したりせず、もう少し大事にやって欲しかった。中村俊輔に押し込まれた最初の失点は、ゴール前でのそうしたプレーの繰り返しから、遅かれ早かれと思えていたもの。

　加えてプレスのかかりが良くないと言うか、鈍かった。ウチが良い時は、パスの出し手にプレスがかかり、それで相手がリズムを崩す。今日はボールホルダーに対してアクションが遅く、後手に回ってはフィニッシャーを捕まえ切れず、自陣ゴール前で振り回され、消耗する展開が続きました。２失点目はそこから。相手の攻撃を遅らせることが出来ず、人数が足りていないところで綺麗に崩されました。78分、相手にしてはプランどおりだったかもしれません。

　前半26分、古田の同点ゴールは悪くなかったです。日高のオーバーラップから一度中に入れたボールを再び外に振って斜めに打ち込むと言う、得意とする形が出来ていた。残念なのは、あの形に持ち込む縦の動きをする選手が少ないこと。また、後半幾つかあった、ドリブルで持ち込んだ選手がシュートを撃てる距離で撃たなかったのももったいない。チャンスが少ないのは判り切っているのだから、思い切って勝負するべきでした。まあ、それだけ確実に点が取りたい、１点の重みを感じているということなのかもしれませんが…。

　終了まで体力がもたないのであれば、もたせるサッカーをするか、脚が止まっても凌ぎ切れる状況を先に作っておくか、いずれかでしょう。砂川も帰って来たことですし、諦めるのはまだ早い。次に向けてしっかり作戦を立てて、練習をして、またホームで勝つところから初めてもらいたい。頑張れ、コンサドーレ札幌！

They were not prepared for that yet? Consadole Sapporo that had won the first victory of this season just last Wednesday aimed at next one at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, to Yokohama F. Marinos, and closely lost it by a score of 2-1 for the home team.

When they pulled buck the game from the 22nd minute’s Nakamura Shunsuke’s scoring using only 4 minutes, it could be even or more. Breaking from Hidada’s right side, diagonal cross to center, moved it up another side once, shot, and shot again to reflection; that was Furuta’s equalizer following their usual attack procedure. But actually, that was the best moment.

Press to ball holders before they send it to anywhere that Consadole playing based on had not worked very much this day. That made them more difficult to stop or slow down the opponent’s offence. Besides that, decisions to safety clearance or pass to counter attack could be more careful. The stack of those small deference and small wrong choice made them more tired and at last drew next goal for Marinos; Taniguch’s header in the 78th minute. It was totally difficult for this day’s Consadole at that time to care fresh substitutes Marquinhos and Taniguch.

Problem was not only defence; attackers such as Kondo and Maeda and Uchimura could try to shot more aggressively when they reached penalty area. However, more important thing is to get back the consensus; to band together and to react on each other. And they can do that. Sunakawa’s appearance could be brightness and it might help the team. Restart from here, go! Consadole Sappro!

第９節　C大阪戦／VS Cerezo Osaka (May 3rd, 2012 at Atsubetsu Sports Park Stadium)

　やりました、今季２勝目、リーグ初勝利、そしてホーム初勝利！さすが聖地・厚別、頼りになります！

　別に厚別だから勝てたと言うつもりはありませんが、裏を返せば選手のプレーはこれまでと大きくは変わらないものでした。

　前半の入りこそ、前でパス回しをさせてもらえず、かと言って一度下げると危ない位置で寄せられ更に危なくなり、後ろに人数をかけさせられている分、たまにカウンターからチャンスになっても攻め切れずと苦しみましたが、25分、日高の勇気ある位置取りとボールを持ってからの縦への頑張り、倒れながらもクロスまで持って行った粘りが、近藤の積極的かつ時間をかけない技有りのシュートに繋がり、先制。ボディバランスを活かし、マークに付いた茂庭をターンしてかわしながらゴール左隅に流し込んだ近藤のシュートは見事でしたが、こうした連携から中で崩しての綺麗な得点はほぼ全試合一度は出来ています。失点でリズムを崩したか、雑なプレーが目立つセレッソ相手に、その後中盤でプレスをかけまくり、ボールへの競り合いでも面白いように勝っていましたが、これも、基本的には毎試合意図しているところ。

　あえて言えば、今日の札幌は集中力が違いました。特に河合、櫛引、ノース、ホスン、近藤は凄かった。河合は毎試合ですが、ノースも良かったと思います。奈良とのライバル関係から注目が集まったのは櫛引の方だったと思うのですが（実際気合いが伝わって来ました）、相変わらずのカバーリングの巧さで何度も決定的な危機を救っていました。前半の遅い時間帯に２度、相手のミスを突いて見せ場を作った近藤も素晴らしかった。あれを得点まで持って行ければスーパーでしたが…。

　また、最後までそれを持続させた点も、良くなっていた点。後半も、50分、52分と前田の天才的なドリブルとキープでチャンスから入ったものの、実際は、10分を過ぎた辺りから一人一人は頑張っていてもそれが噛み合わない、献身的なプレーに連動性がなくなり、次第に押し込まれ攻め立てられる場面が増え、川崎戦と同じ展開になる可能性もあったのですが、芳賀に続き奈良を送り込むという監督のあからさま過ぎるメッセージを全員がしっかり受け止め、最後の最後は身体を張ったプレーと落ち着いた判断で凌いでいました。

　相手が次々と攻撃的な選手を投入して来る中、65分のケンペスを目がけたクロスがバーを叩いたシーンはまさに絶体絶命、聖地のゴールに救われた思いでした。そのプレーでホスンが痛んだことで５分に及んだアディショナルタイムも、中断により集中力を切らすことなく、怒涛の反撃を防ぎ切りました。

　集中力と持続力。ここで何度も“後はそこだけ”と言って来たことです。やはりそこを何とかすれば勝つことができた。負けを無駄にしていないことを証明できたのではないでしょうか。もちろん、まだ１勝したに過ぎませんし、次同じことを出来なければさほど意味もなく、次出来たとしてもその次は相手が対策を講じるわけで戦いは続くのですが、それでも勝利の手応えとそこから得る自信は、チームにプラスに働いてくれるはずです。

　この調子で日曜日、対マリノス２連勝と行きましょう。横浜でお待ちしています。Go! Consadole Sapporo!

Cherry blossom blooming finally reached to Sapporo, the northernmost biggest city of Japan, and this holiday Thursday, another blooming also came there. Consadole Sapporo that had sank in the bottom of J1 league with only one point from its very first game they drew with Jubiro Iwata, this day grabbed the first victory in the league and stopped its long-long 8 games win-less streak at last. On its holly home pitch, Consadole took the lead first in the 25th minute against 8 placed Cerezo Osaka holding some national team quality players and desperately kept it to the end.

It could be the game for the visitors this time too at least in the first 10 minutes but Consadole defender Hidaka’s aggressive positioning and patient play to cross the ball from his right side to Kondo who turned Moniwa beautifully and slipped it to the left corner of Kim Jin Hyeon’s goal totally changed the tide. Hard press and hard running started to overwhelm Cerezo and its tight banded diligent defence kept them on the game. Even the second half their concentration and limitless hard working never run out; this was a big difference from the past, especially Kawai, Kushibiki, North and Lee Ho Seun were excellent. Kushibiki got buck a big point from the rival on the center defender position race, Nara, who started the game in the bench this day. North played cleverly and carefully to help Kushibiki’s very first play in J1 league, and Ho Seun ruled Korean goal keeper match with his many super savings. Last 10 minutes everything could happen but they never allowed equalizer alone.

When the long-long 5 minutes additional time ended, brilliant delight filled up the stadium and covered all players and staffs and fans of Sapporo. They also saw what their play style was not wrong so far. Now they are supposed to prove it totally right in the game they will meet Yokohama F. Marinos on up-coming Sunday. We are ready. Come on Consadole Sapporo!

ベルギービール「パトラッシュ」（Beer Kichen AOSHIMA）／Bergium beer PATRASCHE at Beer Kichen AOSHIMA

　今日行った浜松町の「Beer Kitchen AOSHIMA」で飲んだベルギービール「パトラッシュ」。

　世界のビール色々飲んでますが初めて！ラベルが可愛いので思わず写真に撮ってきました。瓶も持ち帰り。

　カラメルの香りが蟲惑的。でもアルコール度数８％。甘く見るとやられまっせ。

　ちなみに「パトラッシュ」はブラウンエール。ブロンドエールで「ネロ」というのもあるらしい。次回トライしてみたいです。

　カルピス子供劇場世代以外には響かないネタだったかな？

Bergium brown ale PATRASCHE that Ms. N and I had today at Beer Kichen AOSHIMA in Hamamatsucho, Tokyo.

We like this smoky caramel flavor with 8 percent strong alcohol and a design of Patrasche with Nello (so we brough this bottle for home).

They also have NELLO the brond ale. We'll try that next time.

第８節　大宮戦／VS Omiya Aldija (Apr 28th, 2012 at NACK5 Stadium)

　初ＮＡＣＫ５。今さらだけど、綺麗になったなー、大宮。

　サッカー専用スタジアムなのでピッチから近いし、スタンドは傾斜があって観やすく、良いスタジアムでした（下の写真はスタジアムグルメ・大宮ホルモン丼500円。美味でしたよ）。

　大宮駅から歩きましたが、それほど遠くなく、駅前の商店街や氷川神社の参道や参道沿いのお店もいい感じ。

　いたるところリスで、地域に愛されているクラブ・大宮アルディージャを感じました。それこそが毎年落ちそうで落ちない底力の源でしょう。

　今日は天気も良くて、これで勝てていれば最高だったのですが、またしてもほんの一瞬、たった一発で勝ちを逃してしまいました。青山の決勝ゴールは、その前のプレーで相手一人に対してDF二人が重なり、しかも二人で転がってしまったのが痛かった。すぐ起きあがりましたが、あの一瞬、相手をゴール前で数的優位に立たせ、ラストパスを受けた青山にゴール上隅をきっちり狙ってカーブをかける余裕を与えてしまった。

　試合への入り方は煮え切らなくも見えましたが、ワイドに開く割にサイドバックが上がらなかったのは、時間とスペースを主体的に使うことで無駄に走らされることを避け、カウンターのリスクを抑える作戦だったのでしょう。むしろ早めに中に入れて前田と近藤の個の力に懸けたのだと思います。ただ、結果的に大宮の両サイドを攻撃に専念させてしまい、人数がいる分タイトではなかった守備を突かれて前半10分であっさり失点。

　ところがここで難しいのが、前半終了間際に追い付いた場面で、前田が中でボールを持って粘って、そうして生まれたスペースに走り込んだ純平にラストパスを通してズドンという、おそらく意図したとおりの見事な得点だった点。ああいう点の取り方が出来ているサッカーを変えるべきとは到底思えない。今の札幌のサッカーは、良い時間帯は凄くイイ。今日も負けてしまったけれど、突き放された後も何度もチャンスを作っていた。それでも二度追い付けなかったのは、Ｊ１では相手がきっちり対応して来るから。石崎監督は策士だと思いますが、策が策としてハマっている間に勝負を決めないと、何処が相手であっても対抗策を講じて来ます。決定力の向上と、辛い時間帯をやり過ごし乗り切れるだけの体力と集中力、判断力が望まれます。

　惜敗もここまで続くと迷いも生まれるでしょうが、これで良いと思います。変えるとすれば前田をフィニッシャーとするのかゲームメーカーとするのかぐらいでしょう（試合中に状況に応じて使い分けなんて器用なことはできそうにないので、そこは約束事で）。ひとつ勝てば壁が壊れる予感はあります。もちろん、そう言っている間にズルズル行く可能性も多いにありますが、そこは何も恐れず胸を張り闘って欲しい。５月を反撃の月に。頑張れ、札幌！C大阪戦を挟んで日スタには駆けつけます！

Blue sky, sunny sun, beautiful stadium, but the last one piece to begin this holiday week perfectly: victory slipped away from Consadole Sapporo and its fan again, so close again; Saturday they met Omiya Ardija at NACK 5 stadium and lost the game by 2-1 for the home team.

Consadole’s little too much safety and save power playing to enter the game rather helped opponents; without strong pressure Ardija went ahead with Carlinhos’s header easily in the 10th minute. However, this day’s Consadole’s plan based on the skill and creativity of its two forwards Maeda and Kondo started to work one by one and at the very last minute of the first half it finally worked; Takaki’s fine equalizer from Maeda’s enough long keeping ball in Omiya’s penalty area to create the space for the scorer was totally perfect.

After that, there were many chances that Consadole got fare wind but actually it ended in the next goal to Aldija in the 71st minute. Consadole’s 2 defenders slipped and fell at once to ball holder and J1 teams never miss such mistake; Aoki’s curving shot was perfect and it was another lesson for Sapporo to learn that small mistake becomes big damage.

Still, even though they expanded its win-lees streak to 7, they have shown beautiful enjoyable playing so far. What they expect from Maeda; building game or score only could be changed but basically they should keep going. It is good to see and good to try, at least in my opinion.

Once they get win, everything can turned better; every Consadole fan might know that. How long they stick to their playing patiently and tough might be the key for this season. Believe in yourself; there is nothing to fear. Go! Consadole Sapporo!

第７節　川崎戦／VS Kawasaki Frontale (Apr 21st, 2012 at Sapporo Dome)

　どうして勝てないのか？我々以上に選手もスタッフもそう思っているでしょう。

　それぞれの最初のチャンス、川崎はレナトが迷わずシュート。DFに当たりはしたが、CKに。札幌はより確実に決めようとパス交換、オフサイドでチャンス終了。姿勢の違いを象徴するプレーにならなければ良いと心配したのも束の間、９分には、高い位置を取っていた岩沼のフィードが、ゴールラインぎりぎりまで駆け上がった岡本の素晴らしいクロス→前田俊介の気迫溢れるヘディングへと繋がり、今季期待のニューカマーの待ちに待った得点で先制。

　その後も運動量と球際への集中力で相手を圧倒。中でもヤスと純平の動きの良さは光っていました。ヤスはドリブルのキレ、守備での粘り、無理をしない（＝無駄なミスを減らす）プレーの選択も良かったと思います。純平はサイドバックから1列上がってのプレーでしたが、もともとは前目で活きる選手。昨季までは守備的に計算できる選手が限られていたことから、彼のような選手にも守備をさせていましたが、そうして使い続けていたことにより、今季のような、逆に攻撃的な駒が不足している時でも融通が利く。ユーティリティな選手を多く作って来たチームの成長を感じます。

　32分には、ノースのこれも素晴らしいボール奪取からテンポ良くパスを繋ぎ、最後はＪ１初出場となる日高が勢いのあるオーバーラップと正確なクロスを見せ、その純平が打点の高い芸術的なヘディングで追加点を上げ、そのまま前半終了。あれだけ主導権を握って丁寧にできれば、ウチだって決して負けはしないということを証明しました。

　ただ、良過ぎた前半が災いしたか、後半は頭から明らかに動きが落ちていました。プレーは変わっていませんでしたが、プレスに迫力がなくなり、セカンドボールへの反応が遅れ出します（前半は取れても取れなくても突っ込んでいたのが、後半は拾えそうだと見てから走るから間に合わない）。

　すると52分、そんな流れを見て投入された中村憲剛に、ゴール前、振り向きざまの凄いシュートを叩き込まれ1点差に、続いて68分、憲剛の登場で息を吹き返したレナトを阻もうとした日高がペナルティエリア内でたまらずハンド、ＰＫを決められ追い付かれます。その後も押し込まれ続け、最後はカウンターから、これも交代で入った山瀬に強引ながらも技術のあるシュートを突き刺されて終了。

　敗因は明確、前半の戦い方を後半も出来ない持続力のなさと、交代選手のクォリティの差です。スタミナについては、それを考えてセーブして勝てるようなチームではないので、監督の言うとおり、鍛えて行くしかありませんが、後者はやはり深刻。横野など、あの場面で出て来て出来ることはひとつしかないだろうに、ヤスや前田よりも走っていなかった。ここまでカップ戦でも使われていないのが良く解ります。

　とは言え、今のやり方を変える必要はないでしょう。何点取られていようが、守備は今のメンバーがウチのベストだし（キーパーはホスンと高木どちらが良いのか微妙ですが）、攻撃にしても、他のやり方で劇的な変化を与える飛び道具のようなピースが存在しない以上、基本的には同じ方向で行くべきかと。むしろ、前田までが離脱して、そこを変えざるを得なくなる事態の方が心配。

　何だかんだ言って毎試合のように点は取れていますし（今日はリーグ戦初の２得点）、今はみんなが我慢しどころではないかと思います。稲本や憲剛のワールドクラスのプレーを相手に出来ることを楽しみ、そこに屈する悔しさを力に変えて行けば良いのでは。勝てずに悔しい。我々以上に選手もスタッフもそう思っているでしょう。“仲間信じ、最後まで戦え”、そう歌っているのですから、信じてみましょうよ。次は頑張れ、コンサドーレ札幌！

Again it was too much far to the first victory in this season’s J1 stage for Consadole Sapporo that met Kawasaki Frontale at Sapporo Dome on Saturday; it ended in a dramatic 3-2 turn over winning but for the visitors, and the home team expanded its win-less streak in the league to seven with the result.

In spite of the 9th minute’s going ahead with long-long-expected Ace Maeda’s very first score of this season: strong header to beautiful diagonal cross from Okamoto who had run up to the goal line and 31st minute’s quick streaming attack from North’s cutting to Takaki’s finest high header via Hidaka’s hard long running up on his left side, Consadole finally missed the game this time too. Why? It was simple; they were not able to play same whole 90 minutes. Okamoto’s dribble and speed running and decision to next play were excellent and Takaki who had moved his position forward did worked more than expected and the other players’ other play also good; pressing was tight and its defence was organized, but only in the first 45 minutes.

From the beginning of the second half they had been tired and got slow down and once Kawasaki’s Nakamura Kengo broke Lee Ho Seun’s goal with a world quality quick turn shot in the 58th minute right after his appearing to change the tide, this national team player even woke up Brazilian team mate Renato and drew his equalizer from a penalty kick in the 68th minute and leaded it to the latest goal of another substitute Yamase. Those overwhelming players were what Consadole did not have.

Yet it seems that the one thing they can do might be remaining their play style. It worked in the first half at least and 2 goals for a game in the league was first time for them this season. They are getting better little by little matching up those strong teams; to give it up without particular alternative plan can cause another problem. Now it is the moment to stand and believe in our way. Keep going on, Consadole Sapporo!

続・我が家のチューリップ／Another tulip blooming

　地植えにしていた株も綺麗に花を咲かせました。先に紹介した鉢植えのものよりも全体的に力強く、鮮やかで明るい黄色と赤です。

　見ているだけで何となく嬉しくなります。出勤前に力をもらっています（笑）。

　コンサドーレも早く花が咲きませんかねー。今日はナビスコの鹿島戦。頑張れ、札幌。残業しながら応援してます。

試合観られてません！（感想を読もうとして来てくれた方へ）／I didn't watch today's game!

　高い金を払ってスカパー！に加入しているのに悪天候で受信できず。

　午前中に見ていたWOWOWの映画も、途中から受信不能になったため、続きが観たくて近所のレンタルショップに走りました。金も時間も無駄に使わせやがって（怒）！ちなみに標準画質のチャンネルは受信できていました。雨風に弱いハイビジョン放送め…。

　仕方なくオフィシャルサイトの実況中継を追っていました。まあ、ぼろ負けのようですので、悔しさは半減ですが…。最後に良く１点返した。偉いぞ古田。ということで、火曜日、残業せずに帰って来れたら再放送を見ます。

I could not watch today’s game between Consadole Sapporo and Nagoya Grampus because of TV reception problem from bad weather.

Consadole lost it by a score of 3-1 for Grampus so I rather not to watch the game actually; I could check how it went with the official web site report, still, I’ll try to watch rebroadcast on Tuesday and write report.

チューリップが咲きました。／Our tulip blooming

　先日こちらで紹介したチューリップですが、一本、花が咲きました。

　想像していた（良くある）チューリップとはちょっと違いましたが、淡い色もドレスのようにヒラヒラッとした花も好きです。まあ、自分で植えて咲かせたから特別に可愛いのだとは思いますが。

　残りはいつ咲くか、毎日楽しみです。

Though it was a little deferent from what I had expected; mote typical shape and strong primary color, I prefer this dress shaped right yellow flower. This is our tulip!

We still have some to wait for the flower coming. It is fun!

砧公園でお花見／Cherry blossom viewing in Kinuta park

　今日は世田谷区の砧公園でお花見をして来ました。

　朝６時起きで、Ｎ嬢はお弁当作り。その後は二人で先行して場所取り。

　仲の良い友人や懐かしい人も呼んで、おしゃべりと飲み食いを満喫しました。もちろん、桜も。

　春らしい陽気で、天気も良く、満開の桜も綺麗で、言うことなしでした。

　参加いただいた皆さん、ありがとうございました。来年もやりましょう！

Today we had a cherry blossom viewing in Kinuta park in Setagaya, Shibuya, inviting some close friends and old friends so it became a kind of reunion. All of us totally enjoyed talking, eating and drinking under the full blooming pale pink flowers in blue sky background.

It was perfect!

第５節　柏戦／VS Kashiwa Reysol (Apr 7th, 2012 at Sapporo Dome)

　前年の王者をドームに迎えてのリーグ戦、またしても力の差を思い知らされる敗戦。ホームで2-0の完敗はずっしりと応えます。

　工夫は見られました。ここまで両サイドのMFが守備に追われて高い位置で仕事ができないゲームが続いていたのですが、ならばその守備を高い位置でやれば良いということで、近藤祐介が積極的にプレスを仕掛け、攻撃参加。実際、最初の10分はこれが機能して良い形を作れていたのですが、それも相手が慣れるまでの話。結果的には、攻撃において数少ない計算できる選手である近藤がより早く疲弊しただけで終わってしまいました。

　守備に関しても、両サイドが引っ張られても真ん中を固めておけばそうそうはやられないという、水曜日のナビスコ予選勝利から持ち込んだ部分が活かせていたように思ったのですが、それも33分に（その真ん中の）奈良のトラップミスで先制されるまで。決めたのは奈良が“飛び級”で選抜されたオリンピック代表から漏れた工藤壮人。ライバル意識が、プレーに作用していたかもしれません。

　奈良は少し動揺してしまったのでしょうか、その後、精彩を欠くプレーも少なくありませんでした。ただ、この段階ではノースが良くフォローしてくれていたので、慌てる必要はなかったように思います。相手によるのかもしれませんが、ああいう点を取る役がピンポイントに入り込んで来るタイプのサッカーだと、彼の高さとポジション取りの良さは助かります。時には田中順也を、時にはレアンドロ・ドミンゲスを、堅実に封じていました。

　また、右サイドバックの高木純平が良かった。早々にへばってしまった近藤に変わって、前への推進力を生みだそうとする、勝ちたい気持ちの見えるトライが何度もありました。しかし、それも肝心の前の選手が踏ん張ってくれなければ生きては来ない。後半から入った古田にしてもそうですが、どれだけ上下運動しても、最後に決めてくれそうな味方の飛び出しや呼び込みがなければ、報われない。キープしていても、囲まれて奪われてしまうわけですから…。独りで頑張っては結局チャンスを潰すという場面が、今日は中の選手も多かったように思います。上手く行っていないチームという感じがしましたね。

　古田に関しては、ここまで出られなかった悔しさがあると思いますし、マッチアップした酒井とは、やはり同じ五輪代表世代ということで意地も見せて欲しかったのですが、少し残念でした。

　解らないのは大島の投入と、３バックへの変更。

　前者については近藤の疲労を考えると交代自体は納得なのですが、あの局面で何故、より前からのプレスがかからなくなる状況を作るのかが不思議。彼には彼の良さや武器があるのは解りますが、ほぼ一方的に押し込まれていて、自陣から前線のターゲットへ余裕を持ってロングボールを供給できる状態になく、かつ、セカンドボールに対して競り負けている状況で、自分からボールを取りに行かないポストプレーヤーが活きるとは考えづらい。結局は守備の時間を減らすこともできず、63分にレアンドロのCKからベテラン近藤直也に追加点を許し、大勢を決められてしまいました。

　そして後者ですが、今の札幌がＪ１で唯一何とかやれている部分は、毎試合失点していてなお、おそらくあのディフェンスライン、純平、ノース、奈良、岩沼と、その前の河合です。機能していないのではなくて、それでもやられているのです。力の差で。我慢しなければならない時にそこを崩してしまったことで、一人一人の役割すらあやふやになり、ますます混乱してしまった。こんなことでチームのリズムまで狂わせてはもったいないように感じますが…。

　キーパーの交代は良いとして、ここは１週間、改めてプレスと連動した攻め上がりを鍛えて欲しいと、個人的には希望します。何か変化をつけたいなら、キリノを最初から使ってみるのも手かもしれません。次はアウェイで、これまた強敵の名古屋と対決。まあ、最初から失うものは何もないんです。思い切って行きましょう！コンサドーレ札幌！

Consadole Sapporo that had seemed to be in a tunnel of top quality games of J1 saw its first light on Wednesday night’s first victory of this season on Yamazaki Nabisco Cup trial and came back to the league, to Saturday’s Sapporo Dome, to meet Kashiwa Reysol; last year’s champion, and it ended in another defeat with merciless 2-0 victory for the visitor that now also takes part in AFC Champion League, but this time was a little deference from before. It was not close.

To resolve the problem that both sides’ midfielders cannot play effectively in the front of the pitch because they have to stick on defence too much, they actually moved forward the work field; Kondo aggressively chased and pressed Kashiwa’s defence line and it totally worked in the first 10 minutes alone. It lasted in his earlier tiring up.

The Wednesday’s winning that they deadly kept its one goal lead showed its defence would be able to stand against even 30 minutes longer never stopping attack unless the center defenders Nara and North got ready and steady; but this day, from Nara’s miss trapping Reysol went ahead in the 33rd minutes. Scorer, Masato Kudo who never missed the opportunity had been fail in an election for U-23 national team on next Olympic Games this week, and Nara had had his position with 18 year old young. A rivalry might have affected.

Ishizaki changed it to 3 defenders system from the second half and sent two substitutes, Furuta and Oshima. This choice confused his players more. Oshima would not work as a striker or a target man as usual and Furuta, he played too defensively to kill the 3 back defence. When next goal was made for Reysol in the 63rd minute from the corner kick of Leandro Domingues, the MVP of the league; it already decided this game.

Still, Furuta’s coming back was good news for Consadole, although the rivalry between Reysol’s Sakai and him never worked for us. And Jade North, another national player who cared his upset young partner very well this day is reliable. Junpei Takaki’s hard long running to help his teammates was also good. Now the team is in a difficult time. They always can try other players and other play styles only to escape this moment as same as they can straighten up and polish up the way they came and they know how it was. ヤマザキナビスコカップ予選リーグ 横浜 F.マリノス戦／Yamazaki Nabisco Cup trial league vs Yokohama F. Marinos

　やりました！今季初勝利！

　若手と控えの混合チームを予想した前回の投稿（の英語の方）で、このマリノス戦にはベテランらしい抜け目のなさと野心あふれる若手のプレーを望むと書いていたのですが、まさにそのとおりになりました。立ち上がり、相手ディフェンダーの不用意なトラップミスを見逃さなかった大島の先制点、そして小さい身体をその運動能力とセンスで補った榊の追加点、仕事帰りでヘトヘトでしたが燃え上がりました。

　ただ、そうした得点シーン以外は、全てマリノスの時間でした。早く正確なパスをワイドに展開され、ゴール前では斎藤学のドリブルにいいように振り回され、ひたすら守る時間が続きました。

　しかし、その守りにおいてこそ昨日の札幌は唯一相手を上回っていた。集中が続きましたし、個々の能力で負けることがあっても、最後の最後では身体を張ったプレーで弾き返していました。それでも一度は（やはり斎藤学のドリブルから）遂にゴールを割られるのですが、しっかり切り替えて持ち直したのが素晴らしかった。スーパーセーブ連発の高木は、次のリーグ戦でホスンと入れ替わってもおかしくない活躍で、奈良、櫛引もその能力を存分に発揮。そして前半早々から交代で入った岩沼。彼の投入に関しては最初、上原が怪我でもしたのかと思ったのですが、こうなると守備が重要になると判断した石崎監督の英断以外の何物でもありません。

　そしてもう一人守備で貢献していたのがキリノ。彼についてはちょっとまじめ過ぎるくらいで、その身体能力を守備に費やされるのは正直残念。後半のあの、ゴール裏の我々に真っ直ぐに向かって来た鳥肌ものの長いドリブルとディフェンダー三人抜きも、もうちょっと余力があれば得点まで行ったのではないかと思います。

　そうした彼、あるいはもっと攻撃的に行きたい両サイドの選手がなかなか思うように働けない理由としては、最前列の大島のプレス不足は挙げておきたいところです。いや、大島に限らず、昨日は前線からのプレスが少なかった（そして持ち込まれた時に不必要に食い付いて引きずられる選手が多かった）。あるいはそういう約束だった可能性もありますが、そうなると今度は、せっかくの初勝利がここまで継続して来たサッカーと別物である点が気にかかると言えば気にかかる。

　しかしまあ、何はともあれ勝つ感覚を取り戻せたのは良かった。控え組が発奮して勝ったこの試合に刺激され、今度は主力が発奮してくれれば最高です。明後日のリーグ戦は昨季のチャンピオン柏が相手ですが、ﾄﾞームです。ファンの後押しも力にして是非ジャイアント・キリングを起こして欲しい（次はホームの皆さん、頼みますよ！）。頑張れ、コンサドーレ札幌！

　榊、ちっちぇー！

In my last article about Consadole Sapporo, I said that we just would expect the ambitious young and sneak veterans for the second match of Yamazaki Nabisco Cup trial league against Yokohama F. Marinos; and it came true. Wednesday night game at Nippon Spring Mitsuzawa Football Stadium that had collected many fans came after their work (included me) ended in 2-1 victory for the visitors because of Consadole’s sneak veteran Oshima and young ambitious Sakaki.

It was the 6th minute early that Oshima caught Marinos defenders miss trapping to make going ahead and then, the latest goal of the first half from Sakaki’s perfect chest trapping and header to the cross from Hidaka who had ran up long on his right side expanded the lead. Sakaki, the quick shorter of Sapporo, ran and tried really well this day; undoubtedly deserve Man of the Match.

However, except those two goal scenes, it was totally the game for the home team. Marinos overwhelmed Consadole everywhere, especially on its game making and each player’s skill. Tough and hard work to block and lock out the rival’s attack alone was that Sapporo exceeded Yokohama. Goalkeeper Takagi, defenders such as Nara, Kushibiki, Hidaka and Iwanuma, who came as a substitute, were worked really well. Even that, once got broken by a super technician of Marinos Saito’s dribble in the 23rd minute; and it could change tide at all.

Still, they hung on to the end by keeping focusing on defence and playing simply, repeating counter attack from long feed. It even made Qurino’s so close long dribble and turning 3 defenders in the 34th minute.

One thing that we could worry about was it had been too different from their usual play they kept going since last season; pressing from the front line was not enough and aggressive choice hardly seemed. 

Even though, this very first win might boost up them. Consadole met Kashiwa Reisol, last season’s champion, for next league game on the home pitch of Sapporo Dome. We can have high expectation from that. Go, Consadole Sapporo!

アフリカンフェスティバルよこはま 2012／African Festival YOKOHAMA 2012

　行って来ました。「アフリカン・フェスティバルよこはま2012」at横浜赤レンガ倉庫１号館。横浜で開かれるようになって５年目。毎年楽しいです。今日は最終日でしたが、来場者も例年以上に多く、盛り上がっていましたよ！

Today we went to African Festival YOKOHAMA 2012, one of our favourite events here in Yokohama celebrated 5th anniversary this year, to meet African culture and products and enjoy shopping them; trying native food and beers and wines too. There were many people in Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Building No.1 on the last day of this 3 days event to see the great atmosphere full of African colors, art, passion and energy of wild lives. It all was totally fantastic!

　私たちのことですから、まずは“飲み”からです。ガーナのパームドリンク（ヤシの樹液のワインだとか。一口目だけ鼻に抜ける不思議な香り？などと思いましたがジュースのように飲んでしまいました）と、同じくガーナのビール、お馴染みSTARです。相変わらずあっけらかんと軽いです。

　Only elephants should wear ivory. 「象牙をまとって良いのは像だけ」。そうだよね、そのとおりだよなと、泣きそうになりました。色も赤だったし、是非欲しかったのですが、サイズがＬしかなく…。断念。代わりにカッコ良いキリンのＴシャツＳサイズを購入。

　こちらではコーヒー豆や木のスプーンなども購入。今日は結果的にウガンダ産品を沢山買いました。

I love this short sentence on red Ugandan T-shirt; the truth in this message. When I think of the wild lives threatened unfairly by us just for money or vanity, it makes me almost crying… This was too large for me and they did not have smaller size so I bought another one giraffes printed on it.

　遅めのランチは、右の写真を上から時計周りに、ガーナのビールGulder、タンザニアの（ブースで買った）「サモサ」、ケニア料理「ウガリ（ヤム芋のマッシュポテト）＆スクマヴィキ（現地のホウレンソウとケールを茹でて炒めたもの）」「ムキーモ（あるいはモキモ。グリーンピースが入った緑色のマッシュポテト）」。

　どれも優しいお味で美味でした。ウガリの食感はクスクスにも通じる面白さ。

　ステージのみ時間が合わずちょっと残念でしたが、今年も満喫しました。アフリカ、いつか行ってみたいです！

We loved this African lunch, tastes of vegetable and scent of ethnic spices.

We wish some day we could visit those countries!
