F-Marinos 2 Consadole 1
I'm quite busy with work lately so I can't post as before, but anyway I'm neither too cheerful to write something because the team looks SO bad.
I'm just gonna say that if Ishizaki is able to achieve that Consadole stays at J1, Sapporo's city major should build him a monument somewhere. hahaha!
Now seriously, I think we all saw already what Ishizaki has to achieve the objective.. and I'm afraid to say that doesn't seem enough.
It's stupid to blame Ishizaki of the current situation. I'm sure he would have wanted to have a more competitive roster, but we all know the economic limitations of this club.
I'm not gonna critizice nobody, because I think the problem is the roster itself.
In my opinion, there are many players but few who are able to compete at a good level in this category. I'm still wondering what the fuck does Nakayama in this team! Or Juninho! Or many!
Injuries? Yeah there are a lot, but important ones? Just Yamamoto.
10 games = 8 defeats 1 draw 1 victory
You can be unlucky once, twice even 3 times, but 8?
So now, we just can keep supporting them and believe... I really hope to be wrong! But these are my feelings right now.
PD: Today was really strange feeling for me when I saw Shunsuke scoring against Consadole! First time I hate seeing him scoring a goal! haha

Tough schedule..
It's being a difficult start and the schedule isn't the easiest possible neither.. We can't measure the possibilities of this team against teams like Kashiwa.. XD I say Kashiwa because it was even hard to see, Consadole didn't do absolutely nothing.
So I was starting to think that there were necessary some changes already, and now I've just seen the projected line up for tomorrow and I'm totally in agree with the changes.
Here's the projected lineup:
4-2-3-1
Miyazawa
Kondo Maeda Furuta
Kawai Mae
Iwanuma Nara North Takaki
Lee
Bench: GK: Takagi DF: Hidaka, Kushibiki MF: Okamoto FW: Quirino, Mikami, Yokono
The change I liked the most was to see Mae next to Kawai. I really liked this guy when I saw him against Marinos. Good technique and good field-vision. He's still so young, but I don't have any doubt that ,with Nara, he's one of our most interesting players.
The second I wanna mention is about Lee. I think he wasn't playing as he's got us used, but although I like Takagi and he was great against Marinos and ok against Kashiwa,I think it was a little premature to send Lee to the bench. I think he deserves another chance. But well maybe this was useful to make him see that he doesn't have the position assured.
And third, seems Miyazawa will play as the only forward because Uchimura has problems with the lumbago and Oshima has some pains as well. Honestly I don't like Uchimura as the only forward. I think we saw the best Uchimura with Diogo because he took the most of the spaced created by Diogo. Uchimura isn't good at post play and now seems he's like in an island... he doesn't do nothing. Maybe Miyazawa with his height may be useful there. We'll see tomorrow if he finally plays.
Also, seems Furuta will play from the start for first time this season.
I like the idea but I'm not so excited about tomorrow's game because honestly is quite difficult.. haha
The next games are tough.. Nagoya,Kashima(Nabisco),Kawasaki.. it's a difficult schedule... But let's see what happen tomorrow! Football is football and you never know what can happen!

Malaga CF: Tied with Valencia and CL positions!
I’ve been in Cornella-El Prat today to see Espanyol-Malaga.Both teams were at Europa League positions, and after Valencia’s defeat yesterday against Levante , so it was a really interesting match because there was a great chance to reach the third position. Espanyol took the lead but finally Malaga could overcome the result and come back to Malaga with the 3 points. It was just great! I’ve never seen Malaga at this point of the league It’s like a dream! And even more, knowing that 2 of our most important players, Baptista and Joaquin, are injured. And apart from the victory, today I enjoyed a lot seeing Isco and Cazorla's play. Both are just awesome! I don’t get tired of seeing this table! Champions League positions!

Week 3 Consadole 1 Urawa Reds 2
Once again Consadole took the lead but couldn’t keep the result and ended up being defeated, this time against Urawa.
As was prectictable, there weren’t changes at the starting line up.
Consadole did a good first half but that goal before the half time was painful.. It was the key poinf of the match. If Kashiwagi doesn’t score that goal the second half would have been pretty different. Urawa didn’t play an awesome match but they have players like Kashiwagi who are able to decide a match, and he did that with a really well kicked free kick. Just unstoppable.
Again I got the feeling that we deserved more..
So until now the team just could get 1 point of 9 played.. Not good, but it’s still soon so we gotta cheer up, this has just started!
The next week the team will face to Shimizu S-Pulse. Must be the first victory!

Difficult match against Urawa
I couldn't post about the last 2 games, so I want to talk about them first.
About last weekend’s match against Kobe, the team started the match great but finally they weren’t able to keep the result..
Probably Lee could have done something more in the first goal, and later Okamoto had again another pretty good chance to score. I had the feeling that we were going to remember that one later.. and yeah we did. XD For me the draw would have been fair, but football isn’t always fair..
As for Nabisco’s match. I couldn’t record it with my DVR because of an unknown reason so I couldn’t watch it because it was at 5am here.
I saw the hightlights and the team didn’t take the most of some clear chances they had again. I think don’t score in the chance that Quirino had before the half time was more difficult than do what Quirino did. XD . Looking at the statistics seems that the final result was unfair once again. ..
I also read the young ones were good. I’m in agree about don’t use the best players at the Nabisco Cup. Consa’s objective is obviously to stay at J1 so I think is a good idea to do what Ishizaki is doing, give some rest to our best players and give minutes to the young guys so that they can grow as football players.
The bad news was to know that Takayuki Mae will be injured for 3 weeks.
So, tomorrow’s rival will be Urawa Reds, so it's gonna be a tough match.
Urawa started the season with a defeat against Sanfrecce but last week they got a valious victory at home against the current champion, Kashiwa Reysol.
They are one of the teams that even though they don’t play a good match they have players who can decide a match.
As for Consadole, I think there won't be changes tomorrow and Ishizaki is gonna use the same lineup as last week.
I know tomorrow's match is difficult but we already need a victory.. So hope we can do the surprise tomorrow!

J1 Week 1: Consadole Sapporo 0 Jubilo Iwata 0, Good game!
There weren't goals but it was fun! Although the team just could get a draw I think we all are happy with what we could see today.
The starting lineup was what we all expected yesterday.
Regarding the game, I think Consa’s plan was clear, defence well and take the most of speedy guys like Maeda , Uchimura and Kondo.
Then obviously Jubilo had the possession and created a bit more danger than Consadole, but I think the result is fair because both teams had enough clear chances to score.
I wanna point out the defence today. I liked a lot Jade North and Nara combination. Both , made a great job. I got the feeling that Nara is gonna stay few years with us.. he’s great and only 18 years old!
As for the new ones.. Yamamoto went from worse to better. I liked how he ended the match.
About Maeda, I think there isn’t any doubt that he’s a great player, so skiful and great field vision.
The substitutions were interesting as well but I wouldn’t change the starting lineup. Uchimura , Maeda and Kondo are key players for me, so the only spot were there are doubts is where Okamoto played today. I think if Furuta is healthy, he’ll play there.
In regard to Jubilo, I liked a lot the number 10, Hiroki Yamada. He’s a great player.
The next week there’s a very difficult match. The team has to travel to Kobe to face Vissel Kobe. They won today to none other than Gamba Osaka and there in Osaka. They’ve reinforced the team pretty well this season , so it wasn’t too big surprise for me.
I’m already looking forward to watch the next game!

Finally the day has arrived!
Tomorrow(today in Japan) will be obviously a special day for us, Consadole fans. After 3 seasons at J2, we are going to see our team play against the best teams of Japan once again. I think it's great to start the season at home. Consadole doesn’t use to start the season at home because of the snowfalls, but this season unknowingly they decided that. Then the team moved back to Sapporo today(Friday) and went through the training at Sapporo Dome where tomorrow the team will face to Jubilo Iwata. I don’t know if the tickers are being sold at good pace, but I hope to see a pretty good attendance tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to watch the game! I hope to see the team better than last time when I saw them against Kitakyushu. According to what I’ve been reading these last days, seems probably that we’ll see Okamoto at the starting lineup. Contrary to the last years he hasn’t had any issue with injuries and he’s been able to prepare well for the season. Seems difficult that Furuta be ready for tomorrow. Then this is the projected starting lineup for tomorrow:FORZA SAPPORO!!

PSM, Giravanz Kitakyushu 2 Consadole Sapporo 1
Last Sunday I watched the match against Kitakyushuu. I was looking forward to see some of the new signings. The result, obviously is bad, but is still soon to jugde the team. The starting lineup didn't change too much in relation with the last season's starting lineup against FC Tokyo, but with Jade North, Maeda and Uehara instead of Yamashita, Sunakawa and Iwanuma. The last 2, Sunakawa and Iwanuma, weren't available because they didn't train with the team on the last week because of injuries. Yamamoto, Oshima,Yokono,Takagi and Hikichi were injured as well. About the new signings, I liked the both who played from the beginning. North is a good defender and Maeda technicaly is just a great player, although I have some doubts about if he should really play as a unique forward. I wanna trust on Ishizaki. XD Regarding the match, I think the defense was pretty good. Kitakyushuu's tie came from a perfect free kick so they couldn't do nothing(Ho Seung neither). Jade North is who seems that have a spot assured at the starting lineup. Kushibiki and Nara are good defenders and so promising, but they are still too young to play together. I'm also looking forward to see what Juninho can contribute to the defense. So let's see who's finally the chosen for play next to Jade North. But last Sunday, I think that the main problem was at midfield. I didn't like Miyazawa there. He missed a lot of passes and I saw him too slow. Later Takayanagi replaced Miyazawa, but he had few time. I wanna see him more. I'm looking forward to see Yamamoto as well. I can say the same I said about Miyazawa about Furuta. He wasn't too good. He had some really clear chances who should have taken the most of them. One of the players I really liked was Okamoto. He was really active and played really well. I liked Kondo a lot as well. And we were able to see Quirino some minutes again. And I have to say that I had good feelings about him. I saw him stronger than before. As I said the result isn't good, but well it's just a preseason match and they have still some weeks to fix many things. Can't wait for the season to start!

Finally Darvish signs for Rangers
I don't use to write about Fighters though I'm up-to-date on their news, because this is a blog where I use to write mostly about Consadole, but I think that Darvish's signing for Rangers is important enough to write something. So, it has been some weeks since Texas Rangers won the rights to negotiatiate with him and finally they've reached a deal. It's a really bad news for Fighters because he'll leave a really big hole in the starting rotation. Darvish meant victory haha But well, I think we all totally understand his decision. The Texas Rangers are one of the strongest teams in USA so it's great chance and challenge for him. The Rangers has a good batting so I hope Darvish be able to get a lot of victories there. The "good" news is that Fighters will earn a lot of money.I'm looking forward to see how they spend them. I wish him the best there. I'm sure they aren't going to regret to spend such a big amount of money. He's an awesome pitcher and I'm sure he's going to succeed at MLB. So.. thank you so much Darvish! And good luck!

Kick Off 2012
Yesterday the traditional Kick off event was held at Sapporo Dome. As every year, the fans could see for first time the new signings, the new uniforms, etc. I read that Mikami hasn't decided yet about the new foreigners then at the moment this is the roster and the numbers: GK 1 Takahiro TAKAGI 16 LEE HO SEUNG 21 Toshiyasu TAKAHARA 28 Yuya HIKICHI 30 Tetsu SUGIYAMA (New) DF 2 Takuma HIDAKA 3 Jade NORTH (New) 6 Shunsuke IWANUMA 25 Kazuki KUSHIBIKI 29 Tatsuki NARA (New) 31 Takayuki MAE (New) 34 Kazunari OKAYAMA 35 Takaya OSANAI (New) 36 Naoto MATSUO (New) MF 4 Ryuji KAWAI 5 Masaki YAMAMOTO (New) 7 JUMPEI Takaki 8 Makoto SUNAKAWA 10 Hiroki MIYAZAWA 14 Issei TAKAYANAGI (New) 15 Hiroyuki FURUTA 17 Yasuaki OKAMOTO 18 Hironobu HAGA 27 Takuma ARANO (New) FW 9 Masashi NAKAYAMA 11 Shunsuke MAEDA (New) 13 Yoshihiro UCHIMURA 22 Yosuke MIKAMI 23 Hideo OSHIMA (New) 24 Junki YOKONO 26 Shinya UEHARA 32 YUSUKE Kondo 33 Shota SAKAKI (New) As for the new uniforms.. The away uniform is the new template of Kappa but I don't like it too much.. But well is also true that they had a difficult challenge trying to create something better than the away uniform of the last 2 seasons because for me it has been the best away uniform in Consadole's history. The first uniform is cool but is more of the same. The template they've used is the same that the away uniform of the last 2 years but they've added the round collar and the draw of the snow over the stripes. The preseason is gonna be as in the last seasons. From today the team will train at Sapporo Dome until Friday. Then they'll fly to Guam on the 25th where they will stay until February 9th. Later they will come back to Japan on February 12 where they will stay in Kumamoto. The time they'll be in Kumamoto depends on the fallen snow conditions in Sapporo. So, now let's see what Mikami decides about the foreigners. Seemed Quirino was going to come back, but know nobody knows what's gonna happen with him finally. In my opinion, at least one brazilian would be good. Hope the team makes a good preseason. We'll need it cuz it's gonna be a hard season! Can't wait! VAMOS!!!
